<p>In this episode we talk to Jack, an assistant head teacher in a Buckinghamshire secondary school. Jack has been teaching for over a decade, and now as someone responsible for the attendance in the secondary school he works at, he’s seen how Emotionally Based School Avoidance has impacted students, as well as staff. </p><p>Emotionally Based School Avoidance or EBSA is a term used in reference students who have difficulty in attending school due to emotional factors, sometimes resulting in prolonged absences from school.</p>
