Welcome back to the podcast I'm just start my second week of my second semester at university so I'm still trying to get the routine down, but it's a work in progress, and we'll just keep on figuring it out. So hence why I have been absent. Over a break, I realized that I never recorded an episode like I planned, but I did do some personal reflection. January 10, marked a year since I had my lung surgery or also known as a new pneumenectomy. Especially on my anniversary of my new pneumenectomy. In episode 21 I share my life update! I moved in on August 25 , 2022 and let me tell you I love it on campus. I am living in a dorm and I discuss everything from the biggest. adjustments, best and worst part. Then I share the worries I had before meeting my suitemates and the one thing they did that I appreciated. Even the wild transition from always attending a public school and now being at a private university. I wrap it up with some tips for you to hold onto for this school year.

All my life I can remember struggling in school and having to work really hard to try to focus on any assignment we were doing. Tests were always the worst also, because my brain would freeze up and I would be stuck... I'd see other kids finishing up their tests and each time someone turned in a test, I would be feeling an immense amount of anxiety as I would panic and just stare at my paper! I thought this was how everyone operated during tests. Spoiler alert it is not. Maybe everyone else was really smart and maybe I was just stupid..... Why did things not go my way... well after years of struggling the puzzle came together.
