In this episode, I discuss how white your snow should be on a print. There’s a lot of high-key photography in which the majority of the image is pure white. Snow, without texture and tone in a print, will appear pure white and can often look unreal. Meanwhile, the actual scene may have been overcast, rendering the snow greyer or bluer. Wildlife paintings often render snow as grey or blue.
