Drawing from the dramatic conversion of Saul on the road to Damascus, along with God's calls to Abram and Joshua, Ash walks through three postures of faith: Holding ("I'm still considering it"), Descending ("I've committed myself"), and Landing ("I'm putting weight on what I said I believed"). Sometimes waiting is faith—but when God has already said "Go," continued waiting becomes delay dressed up in the language of prudence. Ash challenges listeners to stop analyzing the risks and finally land on what they believe. In this Sending Sunday message, Dan Webster unpacks what it really means to live the abundant life Christ promised — going beyond the world's version of "success" (fame, riches, achievement) to the real and eternal life found only in Him. Drawing from John 10, John 6:68, Matthew 16:24-25, and the Priestly Blessing of Numbers 6, Dan explores the Greek concepts of zōē (life) and perissos (abundantly/to the full), and lays out four things the abundant life will require: learning to hear God's voice, faith and trust, courage, and laying down your life. The message closes with a call to receive God's blessing — His name, face, grace, peace, and favor resting upon us — as we're sent out to live and share that abundant life with others.
