Bre took her athletic mindset into the business world and made something for herself. After 9 years of professional work experience in the corporate world, that coupled with quality education allowed her to soar in the real estate industry. Ms. Dayton is no shy of confidence. After her friend moved to Atlanta Kim continued podcasting under the name KIMOLOGY Kimology is the Kansas City People Choice Awards Best Podcast in 2021. The award winning podcaster is also a playwright, and a creative influencer. Kimology, The show has since evolved into hybrid of Tiny Desk and a talk show. This show allowed artist to speak on their craft. Ms. Newsome, also opens up about how it feels to be adopted and having a void and the search of where she is from.

M'vyonne is an artist at heart that is using poetry to express her creativity. With a Kansas City DNA, Ms Payne has a huge interest in advocacy. She has advocated in matters ranging from women's rights to things affecting people of color and Domestic violence .

Every April is World Autism Month! Light It Up Blue People. Eight Plus One - The Classroom joins the rest of the world to bring awareness to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). A great friend of ours Ms. Dominique S Liddell who is an Early Childhood Educator and a mother to a child on the spectrum. This brave young mother takes us on her journey as she raises her beautiful and resilient daughter. Equipped with the tools of an Early Childhood Educator, Ms Liddell has the text book information on early child development and progress, this coupled with the experiences of helping her daughter navigate the challenges that comes with being Autistic, We have a lot to learn from her.

Gifted with the ability to commands the language both as a writer and a speaker, Monica (Wimbley) Brown, an artist by profession breaks down the effects of growing up in a really abusive home. As a child of two military officials, she has seen the worst of abusive relationships. "My mother ended having to shoot my father and kill him in self defense" My mother has no choice and she went to jail for six years and my grand parents raised me. this heartbreaking statement is one no child should ever have to say. This amazing talent and bravery lady shared this with us. as i look on and struggle to grasp it and ask follow up questions, I told myself i wont be able to walk a mile in her shoes.
