This tribute reflects on a profound friendship built over <strong>31 years of working together</strong>, during which Goose served for many years as my <strong>driver engineer</strong>, a role he carried out with professionalism, trust, and heart. After retirement, Goose was diagnosed with cancer and, following a courageous journey, eventually succumbed to his illness.</p><p>The program also honors Goose as a devoted father to <strong>Paulie Manguso</strong>, and the deep friendship he shared with <strong>Dave Dorsette</strong>, who knew him better than anyone other than Paulie. In a final act of brotherhood and respect, I had the <strong>honor of driving Goose in the caisson unit to his final resting place here on earth</strong>.
