For the seventy first episode of the Toddcast the Teacher Podcast, I had the wonderful opportunity of interviewing Bec West.

Bec West is an innovative Instructional Leader with experience as Assistant Principal, Deputy Principal, Instructional Leader, and Relieving Principal. Bec is a proud public educator, lifelong learner, and dedicated leader. Bec is a strong advocate for inclusive education, future focused learning and positive change. In her position as an educational leader, she focuses on fostering collaborative relationships and enhancing education by building the capacity of students, teachers and the community. 

Bec is dedicated to facilitating quality professional learning for educators and leaders at any point in their career and shares resources on two YouTube channels. One for teachers, ‘Talkin’ Chalk’: and one for students 'Clever Pickles'. Bec is also a fellow podcaster with the Teacher Takeaway Podcast and also an author. Bec was also a Top 10 finalist in the 2021 Global Teacher Prize which is such an amazing achievement.
