This episode's literal grab bag of topics ("Time is malleable" // "Steeping in it" // "Leave room for surprises") had Jorli taking a big step back to reflect on the intention of this podcast (and book). What is Intuition for Breakfast about, really? What is it at its core? Well first, it's an acknowledgement that there is more going on in this world than we have been taught and led to believe. And second, it is a guidebook for navigating these unseen realms and energies so that you can live with more clarity, less worry and (hopefully) reach your highest potential for this lifetime.

This week we're diving into the big "D" — Discernment. The episode starts with a guided practice to learn your body's unique "yes" and "no" signals (an infinitely useful tool for making decisions on the day to day). Jorli also covers two types of fear: one signaling when you should back the hell up and one that tells you when there's something you should move towards, deliberately and consciously. You don't want to mix these up.

Identifying and understanding the "Clairs" is foundational to developing your intuition — kind of the psychic ABCs, more or less. So why have so few people in the general population ever heard of them? Jorli ponders that this week, before giving a quick overview of each. She also dives into one in particular, clairaudience or "clear hearing," to you suss out which parts of your internal monologue you should actually listen to, and which it's best to ignore.

We're spending the summer diving into every chapter of the Intuition for Breakfast manuscript. Each week, Jorli will choose 3 chapters at random to highlight. This week she's covering 1) Why you should trust random, specific and recurring (sometimes relentlessly) thoughts, 2) How you can *actually* live a life without letting fear make decisions for you, and 3) What if people actually felt/knew what you were thinking about them, even if you never said a word? (Spoiler: they do.)

The Unhurried podcast is BACK, only now it's called the Intuition for Breakfast podcast. Why the name change? I explain in this episode. Plus, I dive into recent ah-ha's around the removal of mysticism and spirituality from science and academia — and how I'm not the only one to notice this and be affected by it. // Thank you so much for listening! I'm happy to be back.
