Birthright citizenship is an issue that's been simmering for a long time. The original intent of the 14th Amendment was to extend citizenship to former slaves and their offspring. Progressives, like Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown-Jackson, want to extend that right to illegal migrants or even tourists who happen to be here on election day! SCOTUS just heard oral arguments on Chiles v Salazar, and if anyone deserves credit for getting this issue before the Court, it's Dr. John Eastman, Founding Director of the Center for Constitutional Jurisprudence at the Claremont Institute. He's advocated for decades that the 14th Amendment has been wrongly extended to almost anyone who steps foot on U.S. soil. He's here to explain his reasoning for ending birthright citizenship for illegal aliens. Then, the successful launch of the Artemis II moon mission got Mike to thinking about brave explorers of the past, like Christopher Columbus and Lewis & Clark. Is it time Americans reclaimed the spirit of exploration? On this Good Friday, we here at Breitbart News Daily wish everyone a Happy Easter!
