Initially, only shows that are already growing on Spotify and a curated set of The Ringer podcasts will get a bigger stage via Netflix. It's unlikely that small indie podcasts will join them, but a show that grows might. Most people consume their podcasts on the go, rather than sitting on the sofa, so their switching to consuming via Netflix is far from a sure thing. The podcast game is changing - stay flexible and keep an eye out for new opportunities. Work out if it is for you, add your content and carefully monitor how many extra views you get compared to the extra time spent.
