Sid Preskitt is my father. I sat down to chat with him on his incredible commercial diving career which he began in 1972. He was one of the original pioneers of commercial diving and successfully completed a 1,200 ft dive to prove to the Norwegian Government that repair work on oil lines in the North Sea could be completed at that extreme depth by American divers with American equipment which was thought to be "impossible" at the time. He has completed major dives in saturation throughout the world but his primary works were in the North Sea. He started and built Commercial Diving Technologies school in Hudson, Florida with fellow diver and owner Ken Shelley, where he is currently overseeing the training and schooling of over 40 students who are soon to graduate and go to work as commercial divers. Too much to mention here you'll have to have a listen for more..Enjoy!
