The Seasonal Edit is a planning, productivity, and intentional living podcast for women who want to feel less overwhelmed by their lives—and more present for them. Hosted by Jade Boyd, MBA, productivity expert and planner creator, The Seasonal Edit takes a practical, realistic approach to getting your life in order without turning it into one endless self-improvement project. Because the goal isn't to squeeze more into your days. It's to get better at deciding what matters, create simple systems that make everyday life easier, and make room for the things you actually want to enjoy. Each episode blends thoughtful perspective with practical, actionable strategies for planning, organization, routines, time management, productivity, goal setting, simple living, and managing a home and family. You'll learn how to organize your weeks, create routines that actually stick, simplify your home, manage the mental load, make progress on meaningful goals, and use your limited time and energy more intentionally. And unlike productivity advice that assumes every week of your life should look the same, The Seasonal Edit is built around a different idea: your systems should change when your season does. Your capacity changes. Your priorities change. Your family changes. Your energy changes. Even the literal seasons affect the rhythms of your home and life. Instead of forcing yourself into a rigid routine year-round, you'll learn how to regularly edit what's on your plate and build rhythms that support the life you're actually living right now. This podcast is for you if you've ever wondered: How do I create routines that don't just look good on paper but actually work for real life? How do I stay organized when I'm managing a million little things that don't fit in tidy boxes? How can I make time for my goals, creative work, side hustle, or hobbies when my free time is limited? How do I simplify and declutter my home without making it another overwhelming project? How can I be productive without constantly feeling rushed or behind? What should I focus on first when everything feels important? How do I stop trying to do everything—and still make meaningful progress? Whether you're resetting your weekly routine, organizing your home, planning your next season, trying to get dinner on the table with less stress, or figuring out what deserves your attention in a particularly full season of life, you'll leave these episodes with ideas you can actually use. No impossible morning routines. No pressure to optimize every minute. No recycled list of “10 habits successful women do before 5 a.m.” Just thoughtful, practical strategies for doing less—but doing what matters better. Because a well-planned life shouldn't just look productive on paper. It should feel good in your everyday life. A No Buy Fall Capsule Wardrobe for Your Real Life
What if building a fall capsule wardrobe had nothing to do with owning the perfect number of shirts, buying a closet full of neutrals, or following someone else's formula? In this episode of The Seasonal Edit, I'm sharing a simpler way to create a fall capsule wardrobe using the clothes you already own. Instead of starting with what you “should” have in your closet, we're starting with your actual season of life—your schedule, the weather, what your days require, and what you genuinely like to wear. I'll walk you through three different ways to simplify your wardrobe: creating a small rotation of go-to outfits, choosing a daily outfit formula, or building uniforms around the different rhythms and activities in your week. I'm also sharing what my own wardrobe looks like in this season of life as a stay-at-home mom who is breastfeeding, postpartum, and very much in need of comfortable clothes with pockets. If getting dressed has become one more surprisingly exhausting decision in your day, this episode will help you reduce wardrobe decision fatigue, shop your closet, buy less, and create a simple capsule wardrobe that actually works for your real life. Key Takeaways From This Episode Why your season of life should determine your capsule wardrobe more than someone else's list of “essentials” How to create a no-buy fall capsule wardrobe by shopping your closet first Three capsule wardrobe systems to try: go-to outfits, a daily uniform, or weekly/activity-based uniforms Why storing clothes for another season can sometimes make more sense than immediately decluttering them How to use your capsule wardrobe as a filter for buying fewer clothes and being more intentional about what comes into your closet SHOW NOTES Click here to view the full shownotes for this episode on my blog THE SEASONAL EDIT EMAIL NEWSLETTER Click here to get my monthly-ish email newsletter, including recent podcast episodes LINKS MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: Join my email list Old Navy High-Waisted Linen-Blend Super Wide-Leg Pants Quince linen pants Nursing-friendly tank with sewn in padding Nursing tanks with built-in padding Want to share what's simplifying your life in this season? Business After Baby #2: Seasonal Productivity, Slow Business, and Starting Again
After a looooong podcast break, I’m sharing where I’ve been over the past year, why I stepped away from coaching, what life looks like with two under two, and how motherhood has completely shifted the way I think about productivity, purpose, and building a business. I’m also sharing the future vision for this podcast, why I walked away from creating another digital course, and the unexpected direction my business may be heading next — including thoughts about writing a book, building a productivity app, and creating more life-first content moving forward. This episode is an honest conversation about what it looks like to live in your season, redefine success, and create a business that supports your life. If you’ve been feeling pressure to “do it all,” stay consistent, or have your entire future figured out before taking action, I hope this peak behind the curtain encourages you to slow down, simplify, and trust the season you’re in.
