<p>Frank van den Broek, in his first full professional season with Team DSM-Firmenich PostNL, made his Tour de France debut in 2024, finishing second on stage 1 after gifting the stage win to his teammate Romain Bardet. Frank had emerged as the strongest rider from the breakaway. Earlier in the season, he delivered a strong performance in the Tour of Turkey, winning a mountain-top finish and the general classification.
