On this week's episode of the Redacted History Podcast, we are discussing the history of the colonization of Africa, mainly the Congo. We set the stage for how we got to the present day genocide in the Congo. And it all starts with Belgium, Berlin, King Leopold II, and the Berlin Conference of 1884. That leads us to the 20th century where the scramble for African resources intensifies leading to a genocide in present day Democratic Republic of Congo. A genocide that is still happening today.
