Life in Subtitles

In our inaugural post-hiatus episode, we discuss all things surrounding names – especially when you’re an immigrant or a child of an immigrant. We laugh, vent, and heal through stories of our names being mispronounced, and come to the realization that no matter our backgrounds, we can still relate to each other's experiences. For our inaugural show, we are diving into perhaps one of our more ambivalent topics…dating. What is it truly like to date while being a first- and/or second-generation Canadian? We interview two friends who've had two very different upbringings when it comes to how their parents talked to them about the world of dating from adolescence to now.
