Out of State Hunter

On this episode of Stories From The Season, Chad has his good friend Ryan Johnsen back on the show to share his story of his 2024 Idaho elk and bear hunt. 

This week Drew from @tricerusa Podcast has Dan Gates from the Coloradans for Responsible Wildlife Management @c.r.w.m to discuss Colorado Prop 127 which is a bill proposed to remove hunting, wounding, pursuing, or entrapping a mountain lion, bobcat, or lynx; or discharging or releasing any deadly weapon at a mountain lion, bobcat, or lynx.  This is an attack on hunters and the attack won’t stop with these animals.  Next it will be bears, or mountain goats or another species in YOUR State.  Listen to how you can get involved and help support C.R.W.M to stop this proposal.

This week Chad has Jaryd Bernstein from Ruff’s Precision Manufacturing on the first ever Small Business Friday Podcast.  Jared is one of the partners at Ruff’s and he is on to talk about their unique scope rings and cantilever mounts for mounting optics to you rifles.  Ruff’s Precision incorporates a level into the ring but they added the level to the side so it can easily be seen while you are still locked in on the rifle.  It’s a very functional decision that you will want to hear about. 

This week Chad has Jaryd Burnstein on the podcast to tell the story of his beautiful 392” Arizona bull elk.  Jaryd is a great storyteller so this show is packed full of interesting hunting situations, from low crawling to the bull to sneeze attacks that almost blew it all and even 10 foot pack outs.  It’s a fun story about a great bull.  Thanks for sharing Jaryd.
