During a time when it was rare to hear the true pristine Dhamma proclaimed by Gautama The Buddha 2600 years later, The Most Venerable Maha Arahant Mahanuwara Wajirabuddhi Thero came forth after reaching the pinnacle as a young Arahant (a noble being). The great Sage, Maha Arahant Wajirabuddhi Thero conducted a series of sermons of the Pristine Buddha Dhamma to explore the true meaning in detail and in abundant clarity as to what was exactly defined by the Lord Gautama the Buddha in four (4) Dhamma topics; "Sadhaham Maga", "Lōkaya", "Shraddhāva" and the "Buddha Sāsanaya" which were at the time, recorded and broadcasted via the 'Kandurata' FM Radio of Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) since February of 2006. The sermons which were recorded in the Sinhala language were later published as a book in the year 2008 as "ගෞතම බුදුන් වහන්සේ වදාළ නිවන් මග” and translated into English again in the year 2010 as “The Path to Nibbāna as Declared by The Gautama Buddha” and later into many other foreign languages as well. Over the period, those sermons had a very positive impact on seekers of the Pristine Dhamma in Sri Lanka and around the world.
