On today's episode of the Maybe Tomorrow Podcast, I talk about grammy nominated singer and song writer, SZA. She is also a role model to many people that have been discouraged throughout their life because of the hardships she went through when she was growing up. She dropped out of college and decided to pursue music and has made a career out of it. She's released songs like broken clocks, the weekend, and my personal favorite, Good Days, that has helped many people to get through obstacles in life. Sza tries to be true to herself, and stay humble and her actions, personality, and humbleness will carry on with me throughout adulthood to remind me to be true to myself. With that being said I wanted to share a couple of lines from her song, Good Days, that says:Half of us layin' waste to our youth, is in the presentHalf of us chasin' fountains of youth and it's in the present nowShe sings it a lot better, but those words man, they are incredibly powerful and serve's as a reminder to put aside any fear or nervousness that you have regarding expectations or ideas of the future, and focus on the now and focusing on the now is so important considering the state of our world. You can catch this 2-5 minute episode wherever you get your podcasts, every other Monday for the foreseeable future.
