दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी सोशल नेटवर्किंग साइट फेसबुक और रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज के बीच हुई डील पर भारत समेत पूरे दुनिया की नजर है. फेसबुक ने रिलायंस के जियो प्लेटफॉर्म में 43,574 करोड़ का निवेश किया है. रिलायंस जियो और फेसबुक की डील की सबसे बड़ी बात ये नहीं है कि फेसबुक या इंस्टाग्राम जैसे प्लेटफॉर्म के साथ बड़ा कारोबार होगा. जियो का सबसे बड़ा कारोबार होगा WhatsApp के साथ.  दरअसल, अभी फेसबुक भारत में एडवरटाइजिंग रेवेन्यू कमाता है जबकि बाजार में जिनके पास मोबाइल है उन पर कंपनी का 90 फीसदी कब्जा है. लेकिन कंपनी के पास अभी कोई ट्रांजेक्शन मॉडल नहीं है. वहीं दूसरी तरफ रिलायंस जियो के मोबाइल-फोन के साथ एक बहुत बड़ा सब्सक्राइबर बेस है लेकिन ये लो वैल्यू वाला है 40 फीसदी का मार्केट शेयर है, दिक्कत ये है कि रिलायंस को ट्रांजेक्शन के बगैर मोटी कमाई नहीं हो सकती. ऐसे में इस डील को दो जरूरतमंद कंपनियों की शानदार जुगलबंदी कहा जा सकता है. इसके पीछे का सारा मॉडल, गणित इस वीडियो में समझिए.
