WVU football signed over 40 high school and JUCO players on Wednesday as part of the 2026 recruiting class. In ths special edition of the Gold & Blue Breakdown Show, Couz and Jonathan will talk about the class and give an overview. They will touch on the surprises, some last minute flips, and some disappointments along the way. Four-star safety Matt Sieg was one of the major surprises of the class. Rich Rodriguez and WVU were able to flip the former Penn State commit at the last minute, even though he did not even take an official visit to Morgantown. The guys will touch on that and how WVU was able to get him away from schools like Pitt and Virginia Tech. West Virginia signed three quarterbacks in the class. Is that too many? Does that symoblize their future plans at the position? The guys will discuss that as well.
