<p>I want to talk to you about the mind of a maverick.</p> <p><br></p> <p>It's not for everyone, but if you're reading this, I suspect it's for you.</p> <p><br></p> <p>Because I've been there—I know what it feels like to have that buzz in your blood, that desire to do things differently than everyone else. You have an idea, and it won't stop nagging at you until you give it a chance. Maybe it's because of all the other people who are doing things the same way, or maybe it's because there's something better out there that no one else has found yet. Either way, if this is how you feel, then you're not alone.</p> <p><br></p> <p>The thing is, being a maverick isn't easy. It requires a lot of hard work and dedication (along with a whole lot of luck), but if it were easy then everyone would be doing it! And sometimes even when we succeed at being mavericks—or when our ideas succeed despite us—we still get criticised for being different. We get told we're crazy or visionary or idealistic or unrealistic… but let me tell you something: those terms only apply if you let them apply!</p>
