The Indigo

University is great, but we entered with expectations. In a place like Hong Kong, internationals may find fitting in a relatively simple task to accomplish. Whereas for students (like myself and Matthew), multiple situations may come in hand that probably would leave you thinking "am I even in the right place?" But in general, we are human beings- we love, perhaps as much as we hate. Sometimes is good to be spiteful (take my word for it). We tell ourselves everything will eventually be okay, but what happens before we truly feel okay? Just because we reach the legal age does not mean we're ready for what comes our way. When most parts of life are simply 'not giving', what shall we do?

Do you ever feel self-conscious about the way you looked, no matter if that pressure was external or internal? In this episode, I will be telling my personal story about my struggles with body positivity, and how it could be an absolute menace to our mental health. Quite frankly, it's still very much of an issue for me today, but what can one do in a society that promotes trends over all else?

A complicated question, I know. But considering how much it has affected me, figured it deserved to be at least vaguely discussed. It's quite the surface-level stuff, mostly my own experiences and thoughts because I didn't want to stress too much in the first episode.
