When Dorinda Mansfield is called to Canada to go through her late husband's belongings at a family estate, she brings along her French-speaking daughter, Stacey to keep her sane.

At the chateau, her enraged sister-in-law tells of her husband's infidelity and their impending divorce (all while residing under the same snow-capped roof), only for them all to be interrupted by a mysterious skiing tour guide and a group of young, rich, and obnoxious tourists.

As the snow piles high and the skiing adventurers find themselves stranded at the chateau for the night, a bizarre death occurs, shocking everyone -  while setting off Dorinda's sleuthing senses. 

Could this death be nothing more than an elaborate accident, or could this perfect storm of coincidences actually be a perfectly-plotted murder?
