<p>Unsilenced: Voices of Young Tibetans is a podcast series where we have conversations with young Tibetans who will offer an interesting view of their lives as exiled Tibetans and their future aspiration. The podcast is also a tribute to all those brave Tibetans in Tibet who were silenced both physically and mentally by the Chinese occupiers.</p><p>In this episode, we engage with Geshe Lharampa Thabkhe Lodroe la. Geshe Thabkhe la is a Tibetan monk at the Sera Jey Monastery. He is a Tenzin Gyatso Science Scholar. Geshe Thabkhe shares with us the life as a monk and how it is very academic and vigorous with each day ending in an evening debate.</p><p>In this podcast, Geshe Thabkhe la further shares his journey in learning science which began in 2004 through the initiative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. He also emphasises how through such engages and developments in the monastic setup, there are various opportunities now. Similarly asserting that the key tenets of studying Buddhist Philosophy and preserving Tibetan language remains central.</p>
