<p>On Episode 64 of the I'm Peaking Podcast, we sat down with the bass monkey himself — Tate Warner (aka GorillaT)! We kicked things off by trying to explain bass music to someone who's never heard it (harder than it sounds). GorillaT shared how his parents hated dubstep at first, but now they're full-on fans. We also heard about his wild Denny's popup show, Illenium’s surprise set at a theme park, and how GorillaT would've basically been on track to become an Olympic swimmer before pivoting to music (seriously, what CAN'T this guy do?). He even showed us an unreleased track with Liquid Stranger and dropped a ridiculous remix of Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy"-- both melted our brains. Oh, and we dug into why Denver is considered the bass capital, talked about the rise of all these strange bass subgenres, and chatted about GRIZ's RETURN!
