On this week's we look back at some of the albums that we managed to not cover in the last 12 months that we really wish we had have done. Expect apologies and thumbs up for 2024 releases from Michael Kiwanuka, B. Dolan, Wunderhorse, Japandroids, Hidden Mothers, Nilufer Yanya, TV Girl, Bubble Love and Fulci.

Plus, we remember a long lost classic from the disco comeback era of 1993 with Ain't No Love (Ain't No Use) by Sub Sub and Melanie Williams.

Hello, welcome to another episode of Trve. Cvlt. Pop!, a music podcast.

On this week's show we begin to countdown our favourite albums of 2024. It's been a banner year, a classic 12 months, and it's reflected in the outstanding quality of records that haven't even made it into our top 10 of the year. Steve and Gaz go from numbers 20-11, and there are some BIG hitters in there.

There's also a brief bit of chat about some recent gigs; Confidence Man, Headswim and the big celebratory tribute to the late, great Mark Lanegan on what would have been his 60th birthday.

Well, it's that time of the year isn't it, where we here at Trve. Cvlt. Pop! Towers start to look back on the year just gone and rate all the best and worst things about it.

On this weeks show Steve and Gaz name their favourite song, EP, gig, reissue, festival, film, biggest disappointment and hero of the past 12 months.

We're also joined by Sam and Alasdair for a bit as well, as they run through their 5 best albums of 2024.

We look at new music from The Cure, Poppy, Primal Scream, Gwen Stefani, Silver Sun, Freddie Gibbs, Killa P & Numa Crew and go in as deep as we humanly can on the shock new album from Kendrick Lamar.

There's also a report from the recent London banger of a show by Joey Valence & Brae and a Lvst. Cvlt. Pop! from Sabrina Johnson, with some really rather excellent school yard lyric changes.
