However, when he met Jesus at a youth camp, his life began to change. He experienced the baptism of the Holy Spirit and felt a calling to go to India. Mike's ministry in India has focused on children's ministry and training local ministers, resulting in the planting of churches and the spread of the gospel. Mike shares his journey of starting children's homes in India and the challenges faced by the children in those homes. He talks about the different backgrounds and situations the children come from, including extreme poverty, violence, and being born into brothels or as sacrifices to temples. Mike also discusses the importance of sharing the gospel in a predominantly Hindu country and the challenges of witnessing to people who grew up in Hinduism.
