Hafa adai and welcome to Taotao Tåsi 🌅 People of the Ocean 👋🤙
This is Part 2 In the Lagoon 🛶
If you're new here, start at Part 1 On the beach 🏝️
This series takes us on a voyage through the Pacific Ocean with Palu Larry Raigetal, a traditional master navigator of the sea. Palu Larry will share stories of how navigators open sea lanes to connect to islands and how they use the stars, water, land, birds, fish, and whales to navigate. We’ll also talk about the importance of exchange, asking for permission, and respecting Indigenous knowledge.
So, come aboard our sakman (canoe), and voyage the open ocean with a Master Navigator and your host, Jaybyrd Castro. In this episode, we paddle through the lagoon and make our way to the edge of the reef.
Tracks provided by Sabyu, both Polaris and Paddle Out from the Navigator EP https://sabyu.bandcamp.com/album/navigator-ep-mastered
