In this episode of Propelling Forward, Keith Sawarynski talks with Joel Moreau, the co-founder and Chief Growth Officer of Mallard Bay Outdoors.  Joel grew up in South Louisiana where he spent his time hunting and fishing with his Dad on the gulf coast. While attending Louisiana State University, Joel teamed up with his Co-founder, Logan Meaux, to launch Mallard Bay.  Founded in early 2020 - Mallard Bay is an Airbnb-style marketplace where sportsmen and guides can connect, transact, and book hunting and fishing trips on a frictionless online platform. Mallard Bay also provides back-office solutions to help these businesses showcase their trips, manage their books, and accept payments - all in one place!Since its launch in November 2021, the mallard bay platform has added over 240 guide services & hundreds of guided experiences across 36 states and 7 countries.  Through Mallard Bay, Joel has participated in various roles including finance, sales, content creation, growth marketing, and web development. He considers himself a lifelong learner and a dedicated problem solver.
