Dr. Micky Cooner spoke to Dr. Jasper Burger about how he is using AI for digital scribing his patient notes. Jasper says it is a "game changer" and saves him so much time from manually taking notes to recording them, after patient consent, and adding them to the patient file with 1 click (to paste notes). "Keep pushing the boundaries", he says and there is a bright future with technology.

Dr. Manpreet (Micky) Cooner talks to Dr. Roger Strasser, Interim Dean and Dr. Sarah Strasser, Interim Vice-Dean about the new SFU Medical School in Surrey, British Columbia. SFU plans to create a program where medical students and residents learn in team-based primary care settings, which are patient-centred and consider social, environmental, and prevention contexts. Micky is using the New Payment Model and shares her experience with it. Micky and Rogan also talk about a few other updates to health care in White Rock-South Surrey – Pediatric Rapid Access Clinic, CHF patients, and the Primary Care Access Clinic (PCAC) and the need for FPs to take on patients when they become stabilized.
