Today, we begin in Vanderhoof and travel along Highway 16, to Highway 27. Our first detour on this trip is Fort St. James. Fort St. James is a small community in Northern British Columbia built around the National Historic Site of the Hudson’s Bay Company post.  Our second detour takes us to Stuart Lake, approximately 35 kilometers from Fort St. James. It is the 8th largest lake in British Columbia.
