Israel's President has visited the scene of the Bondi terror attack in Sydney's east, as part of his four-day trip to Australia.
The Israeli President has been joined by New South Wales Premier Chris Minns, the mayor of Waverley and other leaders at Bondi Pavilion.. where he's laid a wreath in honour of those killed in December's terror attack.
Speaking at the event, he says it's crucial for all nations to stand strong in the face of violence and hatred.
Protesters are due to gather in Sydney's CBD this evening, following a Supreme Court challenge against the government's decision to declare the visit a "major event", granting police special powers.
Reports of a Coalition leadership spill this week are ramping up, as the latest Newspoll marks Sussan Ley as the most unpopular major party leader in 23 years.
The poll shows support for the Coalition has plunged to 18 per cent, with One Nation, now at 27 per cent.

In WA, the President of the Shire of Exmouth says it seems the town has escaped unscathed after it was brushed by Tropical Cyclone Mitchell overnight.
The Category 2 system passed less than 30 kilometres west of the town on its path southwards, bringing winds gusts up to 120 kilometres an hour.
It's now approaching the town of Carnarvon in the Gascoyne, bringing destructive winds.
