Episode 248 is the 46th episode of Season 4. Today we're joined by Shaggy and AK of Death Row Cannabis, Snoop Dogg’s brand launched under Death Row Records. Shaggy is Snoop's longtime sound engineer and handles quality control for the brand, a job he had been doing unofficially in the studio for years before Snoop asked him to make it official. AK runs cultivation. He has been growing for more than twenty years, starting in Seattle, and joined Death Row in late 2022 alongside CEO Tiffany Chin. In this one, AK tells us about his first grow. He was seventeen, his parents were out of the country for almost three months and he turned their laundry room into a garden with security lights and his mom's garment racks. He got within a few weeks of harvest before they called to say they were coming home early. Shaggy and AK explain why they pick flower on terpenes before THC. Episode 247 is the 45th episode of Season 4. Today we're joined by Robb Harmon, founder of Veterans Cannabis Care and president of Marijuana Express M.D., a medical cannabis certification office outside Orlando that has seen about 8,000 patients since 2019. Veterans Cannabis Care covers the doctor visit and the state fees so qualified veterans can get a Florida medical card at no cost. Robb is not a veteran himself, but his father and brother both served and he has been giving back to the community. In this one, Robb tells us how the free card program came together. He spent about a year hearing veterans in his office say they wanted to try cannabis and could not afford the card. He added a day with the doctor and opened it up for free. The first month, fewer than half of the veterans who signed up showed up. The monthly event is now booked months out. He walks us through what happens in that room. Each veteran gets about twenty minutes with the doctor and a first lesson in reading a COA, starting with the terpenes instead of the THC number. The room is full of other veterans on purpose.
