We are back with Season 2 of La Carnita Asada! We had the pleasure and honor to speak with Little Village native, Congressman Jesus 'Chuy" Garcia. The conversation was an honest and authentic look into the life of the Congressman. So much so that the tamales from our local street vendor was not touched! Episode 5 concludes Season 1 of La Carnita Asada and we end it with a great friend of the organization, Colin Boyle! Colin is a photojournalist at Block Club Chicago and he also teaches a class at Northwestern University! A lifelong Chicagoan we take a deep dive into his career path, the freelance world, his experiences as a journalist in the city capturing some of the city's most intimate moments and more.
