Bruce's life took a transformative turn after a fateful weekend encounter. Recognizing he had strayed far from his intended path, he spent the summer focused on healing and rediscovery. After a seven-year hiatus from active recovery work, a period dominated by professional commitments and raising his daughters, Bruce made a conscious effort to reconnect with deeper energies and larger life concepts. Embracing various forms of journeying and healing, he actively sought to revitalize and realign his life’s trajectory. Bruce shares his profound beliefs in the universe, the critical role of community in dislodging trauma, and the importance of starting healthy habits early.


Join us as we explore Bruce's work with Maine Inside Out, an organization using theater to help young people in detention facilities tell their stories and change the system. Bruce’s lived experience with incarceration has empowered him as the Co-Executive Director to promote vulnerability and disrupt cycles of violence among young men.
