<br /><br />With the uprise of data center contstruction lies the question, who is paying for the resource allotment? <br />Are we footing the electric and water bills? <br />Data centers, while crucial for The Internet of Things (IOT) to function, do present an ecological hazzard of catastrophic proportions. <br />With Pinal County and Pheonix Arizona having 152 Data centers alone, I see complaints on the social media page of local news networks of skyrocketing electricity and water rates and questioning why. The Answer? Data Centers cooling requirments demand a greater supply than what is produced by our current system. The greater concern should be, what does this look like in 10,20.30 years? What happens to our drinking water and our primrary source of life. Our Water.
