"Nevertheless, each person should live as a believer in whatever situation the Lord has assigned to them, just as God has called them. This is the rule I lay down in all the churches." 1 Corinthians 7:17 The words we speak matter more than we sometimes realize. In this episode, we’re talking about the power our words have to bring life—to our homes, our marriages, our children, our friendships, and even to the way we speak to ourselves. It can be so easy to let frustration, stress, or the busyness of everyday life shape the way we communicate. But Scripture reminds us that our words have the ability to encourage, build up, bring peace, and completely change the atmosphere around us. I’m sharing some encouragement around becoming more intentional with the words we speak, especially as moms and women who are helping shape the culture of our homes. This isn’t about saying everything perfectly. It’s about slowing down enough to recognize the influence our words carry and choosing, little by little, to use them to bring more life, grace, and encouragement into the people around us. My hope is that this episode encourages you to pay attention to the words you’re speaking over your family, your circumstances, and yourself—and reminds you just how powerful a few life-giving words can be.
