<p>“<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Check-Out Time</a>”, the short story by Sydneysider, Rowena Helston, won the prize for Best Investigation in Sisters in Crime’s 2009 Scarlet Stiletto Awards. Rowena trained as a criminal lawyer and currently works in legal research. After winning the Scarlet Stiletto award, she studied at the Faber Academy at Allen & Unwin and completed a novel, <em>Bellwater Proof</em>.
