Pastor Matt Rose teaches from Romans 8 that those who are in Christ face no condemnation and cannot be separated from God's love. He explains that the Holy Spirit dwells permanently within believers, guiding them through conviction and empowering them to bring every area of life under God's transforming presence.

Pastor Matt Rose teaches from Romans 8:1-2 that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because Christ frees believers from the law of sin and death. Using the image of entering a house during a storm, he contrasts self-protective layers of attitudes, burdens, and curses with the new life found by accepting Jesus, believing his promises, and confessing struggles to him.

Pastor Matt Rose teaches from Romans 7:14-25 that God’s law is good because it reveals the sin and darkness within us, but it cannot save or heal us. He warns against both legalism and rejecting the law as irrelevant, emphasizing that what the law reveals should lead us to depend on Jesus Christ for salvation and transformation.

Pastor Matt Rose teaches that Paul uses several metaphors—including a cleared ledger, a conquered battle, a new kingdom, a funeral, a remarriage, and a change of masters—to explain salvation through Jesus. Drawing from Romans 6:19-23, he urges listeners to leave their old life of slavery to sin and choose God’s grace, which leads to holiness and eternal life rather than the grave.

Pastor Matt Rose teaches from Romans 3:21-28 that righteousness is not achieved through a moral scorecard of right and wrong, but received by faith in Jesus Christ apart from works of the law. He calls believers to adopt a new spiritual “operating system,” drawing near to God through Christ’s atoning sacrifice and allowing genuine depth to produce obedience.
