<div dir="ltr"> <p class="p1">In Thread’s penultimate episode on the Gospel of John, hosts Dr. David Pocta and Hannah DeSouza welcome back PhD candidate Jake Ostrowski to explore John 15–17 and the question of how disciples remain connected to Jesus after his departure. They unpack “abide” (menō) as a reciprocal, relational “with-ness” made possible by the Holy Spirit, discuss the vine-and-branches image and pruning as removal of what blocks Jesus’ life flowing through believers, and identify fruit as joy amid hardship, love within the community, and inviting others to know Jesus.
