The Virgin Islands Police Department is seeking public assistance in the fatal shooting investigation of 15-year-old Charlotte Amalie High School student Tre'Vante Etienne, whose death has prompted an outpouring of grief and calls for community action against gun violence. Police are investigating separate shooting incidents on St. Thomas and St. Croix, including one that left a 16-year-old boy hospitalized.
