Our first guest is Toronto-based filmmaker, Kalil Haddad, whose He Never Dies cycle of short films has been bursting brains with their acidic mix of queer themes and transgressive provocations. Often employing techniques of collage to a kaleidoscopic degree, Haddad mines the past with images of vintage gay erotica, morbid reality, and wistful nostalgia.
