In 1991, Omaima met William Edwin Nelson -"Bill" at the beginning of October of 1991-they immediately move in together and by the first of November they were married...not withstanding the fact that bill was double Omaima's age and already married to someone else.

Thanksgiving day would be the last time Bill would be seen and by Sunday December 1st, Omaima drives to an ex-boyfriends home and tells him she's killed her husband and she will pay him to dispose of his body.

Her friend, instead of helping her, calls the police and the police will find the most gruesome scene they had ever seen in Costa Mesa, California.

In this episode of Unexplained America, your host Lisa discusses the life and crimes of Henry Lee Lucas: The Confession Killer (Part 2) from the time frame of June 1983 to his passing in 2001. Then an interview with J. R. Howard - who met and interviewed Henry Lee Lucas for some pending cases in Arkansas in 1985. Henry Lee Lucas met and gave J.R. a signed copy of the "Hand of Death"--which I now have.

What will be outlined in this Part 2 episode is the "real" telling or independent telling of how Henry Lee Lucas met Otis Toole and how Henry would meet Becky and then Kate Rich who both would be victims in 1982.

I will discuss Henry's actual conviction, and indictments and the again focus on the time frame of 1983-2001.

Finishing with the interview of J.R. Howard--former Arkansas State Police Investigator, Former Director of the Arkansas State Crime Lab and Former U.S. Marshall--Mr. Howard will outline his extensive and indepth law enforcement career then will discuss meeting Henry Lee Lucas and the cirumstances behind such.

In this episode of Unexplained America, your host Lisa discusses the life and crimes of Henry Lee Lucas from the perspective of Henry Lee Lucas along with a dive into true documentation in a search of the truth.

In 1936, Henry was born to Nellie Viola Dixon Lucas, 48 years old at the time; Viola was married to 35 year old Anderson Lucas. Nellie was said to be a very violent, non-caring mother. Henry and his sibliings and Anderson faced an abusive existance with Nellie.

At age 14, Henry left home and headed down a path of crime and incarcerations. By 1960, Henry was sentenced to 40 years in prison for being convicted of 2nd degree murder of Nellie.

After only 10 years in prison, Henry is released on parole but his life of crime only persists and grows to his own account.

In this part 1, we will discuss his whole life leading up to his final arrest in June of 1983.

In this episode of Unexplained America, your host Lisa discusses the most famous, the GOAT cryptid in America--Bigfoot.

This episode we begin by discussing the early stories of large, hairy creatures, running around on two-legs with a terrible odor and the how the indigenous tribes spoke about these creatures like any other creature here in the America's.

Then in 1812, reports come out when David Thompson (explorer, surveyor, fur trader) publishes his journals that outline his recording of large footprints found in the snow around what would now be Alberta, Canada--these tracks were said to be 14 inches long and 8 inches wide.

We will discuss further reports in 1800's of the "Arkansas Wildmen"--which is reported in newspapes out of Memphis, Tennessee.

By 1870, there is an intial report of a "Wildman" sighting that looked like gorilla's in the Diablo Mountains near San Francisco, California.

We go on and discuss the events in July 1924 in Washington State, then then the prints found in California by Jerry Crew which made the reference to these "wild men" as "Bigfoot" and solidified the name in the public mind.

Of course, we must dive into the very famous and compelling evidence of the Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin film in 1967, which reflected a large hairy, bipedal, female Bigfoot who would be named "Patty" in honor of Patterson.

We continue on to the famous Fouke Monster in Fouke, Arkansas, the happenings of Bobby and Elizabeth Ford in May of 1971 and the encounter of the Woods/Sedgass that happened after the Ford's encounter that made National headlines and a forthcoming movie in 1972 called "The Legend of Boggy Creek"--1 of the highest grossing independent movies ever made.

In this episode of Unexplained America, your host Lisa has special guest host Amber on the show for this very creepy special Halloween episode on Bloody Mary the Legend and not the drink.

In this episode, we go back to the early 1700-1800's to discuss the different origin stories of Bloody Mary.

One particular story discusses how Mary is an old witch woman living in the woods. The townspeople do not like her or trust her. She sells tonics and is known to curse people and animals. At some point, town girls go missing and the towns people suspect Mary. They venture into her woods to confront and different stories or variants say different outcomes happen but mainly that Mary is killed and then curses the people and the town if they dare utter her name three times.

Another story is about a Miller's daughter who is enchated by Mary the witch. Ultimately the daughter is saved by the towns folk but the towns folk kill Mary and she again curses them.

A different story is about a girl named Mary who falls ill and dies. Her family is grief stricken and refuse to bury her for a week but once they bury her they do bury her with the string to the bell just in case she is still alive. Unfortunately, for the family she does wake up and rings the bell but they do not hear her and the bell breaks and she dies in the ground but not until she is completely bloody by scrathing her nails and beating on the coffin lid. They notice the broken bell and dig her up and find her bloody body. the legend goes they confirm she's dead by sticking a mirror to her nose and when they do they trap her spirit in the mirror forevermore. And future victims that call her name in the mirror will awaken her spirit to come after them.

I will also, discuss the ultimate Bloody Mary, Mary I of England or Mary Tudor, first official Queen of England, daughter of King Henry VIII, was monikered Bloody Mary because she had 284-300 Protestants burned at the stake during her 5 year reign.
