He has conducted extensive research in marine ecology and genetic engineering, contributing to the development of protocols for cloning fluorescent proteins. Dr. Carter&#39;s work led to the creation of transgenic zebrafish and a patented gene licensed to Promega, Inc. He also has a background in human genetics and has worked on research projects published in both secular and faith-based journals.
