Text me your favorite South Florida memory.
Indoor venues for concerts were hard to find back in the day. Your choices were...well, one. The Hollywood Sportatorium. Until 1976 that is. Then in a little town called Sunrise, known mostly for condos, delis and retirees, a magical place was built that would host the biggest names in show biz; from Sinatra to Buffett and more.
It was the Sunrise Musical Theater and the stories and memories for those of us who lived here when it was open almost rival that of the Sporto itself.
Then, if you wanted a more intimate setting, you only had to drive a few miles east to Fort Lauderdale to a one-of-a-kind musical experience at Musician's Exchange.
