The Primrose Protocol

“The Primrose Protocol” by Harold Taw: Saturday 8:30 p.m.Eastern

CAST:

Jacqueline Youm – Jackie is a powerhouse performer and exerts her emotional will on this show. This is Jackie’s debut with Broken Arts Entertainment, though also is featured in the upcoming comedic series Justin Thyme.

Ian Ashland – Ian has been with BAE since 2020 when he was in the press corps for Quarantine 2038. Ian is a director (Breakroom 11), Executive Producer (Justin Thyme), Producer (many anthologies), and performer. A quadruple threat if you will. He plays Copen in A Fragile Mind (The main story) as well as the same role as a 14 year old in At The Cabin.

Yana Ramos – Yana has been pulling double duty for this anthology and while primarily they have been playing Artificial Intelligence (Chocolate & Chili), we’re looking forward to Yana playing a human soon. In addition, they’re one of our primary editors for the Loved Ones Season 2 as they continue to learn and develop the craft of soundscapeengineering.

Morgan Walton – We are excited to introduce the worldto Morgan Walton. BAE has known her family for a lot of years. Her father, Aric played a leading role in Quarantine 2038 and was Principal Kneeland in Playground Rules. Her brother, Aidan, played Spike in Playground Rules. Now it’sMorgan’s turn to shine, hot on the heels of her incredible performance as Les in Newsies Jr. at Lyric Music Theater, she was ready to roll for the title role, Primrose, in Harold Taw’s drama.

DIRECTOR & PRODUCER & SOUNDSCAPE ENGINEER

Joe Swenson – Joe is also the entire crew on this show. Directing these performers was a dream, they came prepared, they worked so hard, and they were ready to bring the emotive context to a complex situation. Every show has it’s awesomeness and every show has it’s learningcurve and from an editing perspective, and this show was no different.

(Tom previously wrote "A Serious Scurry of Fluffles"for Good Vibes Summer Season 1!)

CAST:

Antonella Pérez Ferrero – Antonella is from Georgiaand is involved in several projects with the University of Georgia. Her BAE experience has been quite a ride. Including, joining the incredible ensemble of A Fragile Mind by being in the recently released In Time With Michael Peterson as Melanie Turner.

Jack Dumas – Jack has been busy with Broken ArtsEntertainment. He was also in the critically acclaimed, Guilt by Association. One of our most popular shows this season. Jack is being considered for a ton of other roles within the BAE universe.

Molly McGill – Saving the best for last, so-to-speak, but might be true. Molly has been working with BAE since 2019 (6 years) which makes her the 3rd most tenured member of the team. Her roles include an Irish Bounty hunter in Quarantine 2038, the play version of Eleven Days, Ahava, and more. She’s also in the upcoming release of Empowered Minds with Susan Wellingham an A Fragile Mind spinoff. She plays Cam, the podcast’s producer, and you can catch this show next week.

DIRECTOR & PRODUCER & SOUNDSCAPE ENGINEER

Joe Swenson – Joe is the crew on this show as he handled the Soundscape Engineering and Editing for all of the shows with three or more performers. This show presented a lot of challenges (flipping times from 1970 to 2025), creating a sustainable ambience for both time frames, creating an atmosphere for both Harold’s to exist in the same time frame and delicately delivering the very cool button that Tom’s writing allows.

Joe Swenson – Joe’s cinematic approach to sounddesign brings Eleven Days to life. The complication withEleven Days is that the full story is told through a mixture of present day and flashbacks. Hopefully the audience understands and gets it.
