Kyle recounts growing up around various Protestant churches, and then encountering Catholic beauty at Notre Dame and Rome on a 2008 People to People trip in his mid-teen years.He is later drawn to attend Mass through a Catholic schoolmate, via the offer of a free pizza, and a profound realization of the Eucharist as the real presence of Jesus. After recognizing he had “converted internally,” he entered the Church at the 2010 Easter Vigil.
