Angelique's Bio: INSPIRE. INFORM. ENTERTAIN I am an award-winning screenwriter and director with a career that has spanned from childhood to the present. My journey in the creative arts began in the world of musical theater, moved through the ballroom dance world, and ultimately led me to the vibrant NYC theater scene. Early in my career, I discovered a talent for writing compelling monologues for actors, which laid the foundation for my stage play, BALLROOM NIGHTS, which was being workshopped for a Broadway run. Passionate about crafting stories that inspire, inform, and entertain, I have been running STARR FILMS, a boutique production company, since 2008. This venture has allowed me to bring many ideas from concept to creation, producing numerous films, commercials, corporate videos, and nonprofit films. I am passionate about stories that highlight societal issues and bring underrepresented voices to the forefront of the industry. Beyond screenwriting and directing, I am a seeker of esoteric knowledge and wisdom, a quest that began in my teens.
