<p>Later this week, the top athletes in the world will walk in the Opening Ceremonies of the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, the dream for nearly every young athlete everywhere.</p><p>Seabrook&#39;s <a href="https://www.instagram.com/scottylago/" target="_blank" rel="ugc noopener noreferrer">Scotty Lago</a> knows what it&#39;s like to make that walk.</p><p>In 2010, he represented the United States of America at the Vancouver games. At 22 years old, he faced all the pressure in the world. </p><p>And he delivered ... until he didn&#39;t.</p><p>After perfectly executing a run he&#39;d never performed before, Lago (unthinkably) won the bronze medal in the men&#39;s half pipe, earning himself a spot alongside legendary teammate Shaun White on the podium, who took home the gold.</p><p>Then, a couple hours later, <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2010/02/20/olympic-medalist-packs-up-after-biting-photo/" target="_blank" rel="ugc noopener noreferrer">an inappropriate photo</a> of Lago celebrating his accomplishment surfaced on TMZ, and then things began to unravel.</p><p>Shortly after the photo spread online, the United States Olympic Committee sent him home, prematurely ending Lago&#39;s only Olympics experience.</p><p>From his home in South Hampton, N.H., Lago joins<a href="https://www.instagram.com/troy_farkas/" target="_blank" rel="ugc noopener noreferrer"> host Troy Farkas</a> to talk about what happened that night, and how the Seacoast fully stood behind him when he returned home.
