A modern Russian fairytale about an American actress who adopts a little Russian girl in St. Petersburg in 1994. The actress, Molly McKay, arrives to find a Russia struggling to become a free market democracy. She also discovers that the TV show she starred in back in the ‘80s in the U.S. is now a big hit in Russia, complicating an already harrowing adoption journey. Then there are the two handsome princes, one Russian, one American, and all the other fairytale characters who help or hinder My Russian Clementine. My Russian Clementine was produced, written, directed, and edited by Chris Côté and Dayle Kerry.
